Kenzie says the Darndest Things!!

As most of you know, McKenzie is hilarious, but there are things that she says on a daily basis that most of you miss out on. I've listed a bunch of the things that she says so you can enjoy them as well!

Can I hold you? means Will you hold me?
Is me means Am I
Banaca Bar means Granola Bar
Thrinky means Long fingernails (I have no idea where that came from!!)
Honkey means Adrie's noisy toy
Lellow means Yellow
THAT'S NOT FAIR! means Mom, I should be able to do anything I want!

Trek means Shrek
Hey now, it's the Trek song, get your game on, go play should be Hey now, you're an all star, get your game on, go play.

The one word that she uses more than anything is WHY??? This is the part where patience comes into parenting!!!
After waking up in the morning, she happily says "It's a sunny day!" When we are trying to put her to bed these days, "It's still a sunny day!"
When we walked into Walgreens the other day she said, "There's so much stuff" that meant "What do I want to put in the cart first?"
After taking a walk or playing outside, she'll wipe her brow and say, "I'm sweaty!"
The other day I walked into the living room and Adrie was crushing up a bunch of dried leaves. I asked McKenzie why she gave Adrie leaves off the balcony. Her response was "Mom, it's baby food!"

(Adrie): AAAHHHH
(Me): Kenzie, what did you do to Adrie?
(Z): (in a whisper) SHHH, quit crying Adrie.
(Me): Why is Adrie crying?
(Z): I don't know

Our Favorite Papa

This is a little late, but I just wanted to wish Ryan a Happy Father's Day. Ryan is a great husband, but more importantly an amazing father. McKenzie says he's the best! I'm so grateful for all his does for his girls! I LOVE YOU!!

Days of Dress Up

My sister-in-law Cindy was kind enough to give McKenzie a bunch of hand me down dress ups, which she LOVES! She loves changing into different "Princess" outfits. Here are a couple of my favorites!Princess Pocahontas

Fun at the Fun Park

Last month I took McKenzie, Adrie, and Hailey up to Logan to visit Dillon and Freda. We decided to go to the Fun Park where they could enjoy roller skating, bowling, games and other stuff. The best part, was watching Kenzie try to skate. It was a rocky start, especially when I was trying to help her, but after I quit trying to help and she moved onto the carpet, she got the hang of it.





Enjoy the video of her skating!!! Probably the funniest part of the night, though is when she went and did dance revolution with two complete strangers. I was laughing so hard that I couldn't keep the camera still. I wish I had gotten the camera on sooner cuz she was dancing way longer than what is on the video.

5 Months Already!

It's hard to believe that Adrie is already 5 months old. We love her SO much and feel so grateful to have her in our family. She fills our home with even more love and happiness than I thought possible. It's also amazing to see how much she's grown in such a short time. She already smiles, laughs, rolls over and over and over, grabs everything (including Kenzie's hair when she gets too close), eats baby food, sucks on her toes and is getting quite the little personality. She is pretty laid back for the most part, but she gets really upset when she drops her toys. If she can't pick them back up herself, she lets out this loud squeal to tell me she needs it ASAP! She is such a sweetheart! We love you peanut!






I'm not quite sure why, but she pulls this face so much when I take pictures. It looks like I'm scaring her or something. Funny huh!
